A rapid prototyper is a machine that can manufacture objects directly (usually, though not necessarily, in plastic) under the control of a computer. Which is what the people at RepRap in the UK are building and doing.
While the fine folks at MakeZine are doing all kinds of do it yourself technology including the creepy doll robot.
I’ve enjoyed the holiday break, I’m going to hate to go back.
