I was thinking about the nature of the comic and how at least conceptually this strip started out as a Lovecraftian horror-comedy that has evolved into something else entirely. In point of fact I was discussing parts of season two with Barry and mentioned that I had also wanted to incorporate a steampunk feel as well. He of course was more than willing to indulge any directions that I tend to wander off in. I would imagine that working with my scripts has been more akin to trying to catch a small child as they run around a playground trying out everything.

All of that being said, season two will hopefully include more bits of horror and more evidence of my fondness for the Victorian era.

For those of you curious about such things, here are a couple of technorati charts about the number of times other bloggers have mentioned horror or steampunk.
