“Think about the future!”
I was talking with Nick Marino last week and he asked me what I was working on next. I stood there in the Phantom of the Attic for a moment and realized that I had nothing planned. I’m not sure he noticed but quickly started telling him that Scott was taking a break (he’s not really, he’s working on something with our friend Colton) and then steered the conversation back to him and his assault on the internet. (Audioshocker, Sequential Underground, Stick Cats, Super Haters, Project Basement, etc. – see what I mean?)
But that’s not really true that I have nothing planned. I’m going to finish up Gaslight Tales (Thanks for the art Barry) and then hopefully Scott will finish coloring Fairhaven and then we’ll post that up as well.
Speaking of Scott, I would like to thank him for turning out another solid run of great artwork. 26 pages of full color artwork on a weekly basis. Outstanding. Seriously. He’s a talented artist and a true friend. A “true friend” is what writer’s call artists that work for peanuts, or in this case less than peanuts.
So that’s it, the end of this incarnation of the Weirdlings for now. I hope you enjoyed it, if you did leave a comment, heck even if you didn’t, leave a comment. It’s always nice to hear from you.
As far as what’s next for me, I’m not sure, but as Prince says on the 1989 Batman soundtrack, “I’ve seen the future and it will be.”

I’m ashamed to say that I’m just seeing this shoutout right now! Sorry I missed it, but… THX FOR IT!
I really enjoyed this story… I’m sure you’re probably itching to do something different, but I’d love to see more Weirdlings. I think this tale works great on its own as a bit of a sad mystery, but I’d love it even more as the opening chapter in an epic Weirdlings saga!!!
